"Supporting each other to achieve together"

Welcome to Year 3

Our teacher is Mrs Green and our teaching assistant is Mrs Wright.  On a Wednesday afternoon, we have Mr Clarkson teaching us maths and computing.

Our Class Charter

We wrote our class charter together.  As we are a Rights Respecting School, we thought about article 28, which is that every child has a right to an education.  We also discussed article 29, children’s education should help them develop their personalities, talents and abilities.  We talked about article 31, that every child has the right to rest, relax, play and to take part in cultural and creative activities.

We want our school and classroom to be a fair and happy place where we can learn and have fun together.

So we will try to:

  • Be kind and friendly to each other.
  • Be respectful and make sensible choices.
  • Make sure that everyone has someone to play with at break and lunchtime.
  • Listen to all the adults around the school and to each other.
  • Know that it is OK to make mistakes and try not to worry if we make one.
  • Look after our equipment and share it with each other.

If you would like to know more about what we are learning, you can read about it on the curriculum page or on our newsletter.
