This website www.wordsforlife.org.uk has amazing activities for parents and carers to do with their children to develop their language skills.

A study has found that many primary pupils are below recommended levels of fitness for their age.  Conducted by Fit For Sport, the research involved 10,000 primary pupils and found that 67% were unable to reach targets in jumping, running and throwing.  Fit For Sport has created a free online portal where parents can complete and Activity Challenge with their children.
