Barrington Primary School

"Supporting each other to achieve together"

As you are aware, the Government have announced that schools in England are able to begin opening from the 1st June. Barrington Primary School has now opened for key worker children only at the current time.

Covid-19 is undoubtedly one of the greatest global challenges of our time and we in education must now also adopt unprecedented changes to our methods of working. Smaller ‘bubbles’ of children can be accommodated in school whilst still maintaining a 2 metre social distance; increased hygiene practices are in place to minimise the possibility of the spread of the infection.

We have worked hard as a school to maximise staff capacity and have put arrangements in place for children of key workers to return to school in small ‘bubbles’.

It is really important to note that, at the current time, key worker children are our priority and that other year groups are at risk of not returning due to increased demand for places.
